Mission Aboriginal Family Place
Sq’eq’ípawtxw “A place to gather”
This unique program located at St. Mary's Center, offering free programs for Aboriginal families and their children ages 0-6 years old. Caregivers and expectant parents are always welcome. We provide a nutritious meal, one to one educator and family outreach, and much more! Please call to sign up. Early Learning services include:

Outreach
We offer activities and or programming to families who are not able to access our centre-based services. Families who require one to one support will have the opportunity to gather with the early childhood educators to best support their
Parent Workshops
Parents will be provided with additional support which will lead to the enhancement of their positive and nurturing parenting skills. We offer developmentally appropriate resources and or teachings based upon the Seven Scared teachings; Traditional Foods and Medicine; Honoring our Journey; Virtues and many more.
Family Nights
Family Night are offered once per month for registered children and their families. Family Nights may include activities at the Centre or events in the community. Come and share a fun filled evening with dinner, cultural activities and family fun!
