HELPING STUDENTS OF ALL AGES SUCCEED
People eligible to receive education support must fit the following requirements:
- Children must be 4 years of age by December 31
- All First Nations students in school who reside on the reserves
- Adult learners who are non-graduates and are working to obtain their Dogwood Certificates
- Students acquiring extra courses
The types of schools covered by tuition are:
- Provincial
- Band-operated
- Private or independent
Many private schools are not approved by ISC. You must inform the Education Coordinator before enrolling your child in private school.

Supporting Your Whole Health
We provide our communities with comprehensive services to support physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, so they can feel their best.
Immunizations & Communicable Disease Prevention
Prevent diseases like measles, mumps, whooping cough, influenza, COVID, and tuberculosis with childhood and adult immunizations in clinics or at home.
Mental Health & Substance Use
Find support for mental health, substance use, harm reduction, and guidance to improve well-being and address substance use concerns.
Mental Wellness & Counseling
Receive access to in-house, and FNHA contracted counselors and therapists who can help both in-person or virtually.
Medical Travel & Accommodation
Get assistance with meals, lodging, and transportation for medical appointments outside your area. Contact us for details.
Adult In-Home Care
A financial means test (copy of Income tax).
A doctor’s note.
Homemaker Services Application and Homemaker Services Evaluation Form to be filled out during home visit.
Please note: One must live on reserve to access services and live on one of the 9 communities CDD Social Services are delegated to provide services to.
The purpose of Adult In-Home Care is to provide support for clients to stay in their home for as long as it is safe and reasonable. The workers provide personal care, meal preparation and light housekeeping.

These services include:

- Liaison with other local educational institutes
- Bus service for on-reserve students

Please ensure to send in all pertinent information with your PS Application, to have your application reviewed.
Post-Secondary Applications are due back May 3, 2024. Late PS Applications may be put on the waitlist for the 2024 Winter Term or the 2024/2025 Fall/Winter Terms, depending on funding.

Elder Support
Stó:lō Elder's Lodge
We offer 15 ground level assisted living suites for seniors and persons with disabilities, each with a kitchenette, bathroom, and living space. Care is provided by a team including nurses, care aids, activity aids, and cooks. Access requires assessment through Fraser Health Home Health. Call 1-855-412-2121 for an assessment.
Elder's Day Program
Join us every Friday for the Elders’ Day Program, a collaboration with Fraser Health that offers seniors enriching activities, a delicious meal, gentle exercises, and valuable socializing time. We gather in Building 7, main floor, and look forward to welcoming you.
Family Caregiver Support
Fraser Health Indigenous Services has launched a new Caregiver pilot project to help families care for elders at home by providing clinical and emotional support, reducing hospital visits, and allowing current elders to stay home longer. The project funding is limited to 20 Elders and at this point is full.
Friendly Visits
Our team is always happy to plan visits with elders. Whether it's to sit and enjoy a leisurely cup of tea together, play a friendly game of crib, or take a leisurely stroll in the warm sunshine, we're committed to creating meaningful and joyful experiences for our elderly friends.
